Jeff Latov brings more than 15 years of experience in complex financial transactions, commercial contracting, and litigation, with a focus on risk management and the negotiation of complex commercial agreements.

Prior to joining Eagle Peak Development, Jeff spent a decade practicing law at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld, most recently as Counsel in the firm's New York office. There he advised boards, executives, and in-house legal teams on high-value transactions and regulatory risk, including the risks and conflicts arising from high-value debt and equity transactions. He has negotiated commercial agreements, real estate contracts, and complex deal structures for clients across a range of industries.

Jeff's restructuring and litigation experience spans financial services, telecommunications, energy, and manufacturing, on behalf of lenders, equity sponsors, and operating companies. He has represented clients in reorganizations of multibillion-dollar enterprises, contested refinancings, and liability management exercises across a range of contested legal proceedings.

Jeff holds a Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where he was elected to the Order of the Coif and served on the Cardozo Law Review. He received a B.A. in Political Science, cum laude, from the University of Richmond.
